WSB proudly provided comprehensive civil engineering services for the Sherco Solar project, collaborating with Blattner and Xcel Energy to successfully bringing phase 1 to completion. The scope of work requested by the project team included Civil Design, Hydrology, Pile Plans, and Construction Services.
In addition to these core services, WSB’s team delivered specialized expertise with on-site wetland delineation, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and detailed Public Road Improvement designs necessary to meet entrance permitting requirements.
A key factor in the project’s success was WSB’s ability to optimize the layout and grading design. By working closely with Blattner, WSB developed innovative, cost-effective solutions for road design, grading, and mass haul operations. This collaboration ensured the project’s technical and financial goals were met while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
